Dr Sonya Merrill with her observations on the dying
process across many cultures and religions. Dr Merrill has a PhD in Medical
Ethics from Cambridge University, and medical degree from Harvard University
medical school. She practices in the Dallas area.
Joel L. Lazarine, Esq. Legal Director, Legal Hospice
of Texas Mr. Lazarine has been involved with the Legal Hospice of Texas
since1991, and has been on staff since 1994. He currently serves as the
Legal Director for the Legal Hospice of Texas, and in that position, advises
staff attorneys on their ethics questions relating to the provision of
services to LHT clients.
Lynne M. Candler Esq. Law Office of Lynne M. Candler,
Dallas, Texas Ms. Candler is Board Certified (Estate Planning and Probate
Law) - Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been active in Probate
Law for over 20 years. She has written extensively on Texas Estate and
Probate Law for many years, including analysis and discussion of ethical
challenges in Estate Planning. Ms. Candler has served on the Legal Hospice
of Texas Board of Directors since 1995.
